FUT hair transplantation methos is firstly shown in article “Follicular Unit Transplantation” which is written in 1995 by Doctor Bernstein. In this method,first the healthy area of neck (root cells are here) is had a shaved,then local anestesia is applied and hair  is taken from this area.

After taking hair,root cells related to hair cultivation are seperated one by one  and they stay live in cell water until hair cultivation will be done.hair cultivation action(transfering these cells) should be done very quickly. So more than one medical personnels are needed to do this operation. One personnel does cell seperation, other does anestesia on related areas. After anestesia personnel opens holes on hair roots for hair cultivation. An then seperated hair cells are put in these holes. This action is the most important part of the hair cultivation. If the personnels aren’t  educated on hair cultivation,they may cultivate hair in wrong way  and this makes you unhappy when they grow. Operation takes 4-6 hours , ıt depends on number of hair amount. Because of anestesia , a few break can be for the patient’s rest. Patient can watch tv or listen to music during operation. After this action FUT  hair cultivation method finishes.

Advantages

1.It does not harm natural structure of hair groups. This is very important to provide maximum growth. It also provides smaller canals on receiver area. So ıt makes the hair near the natural hair.  Opening small canals provides maximum growth because it doesnot harm blood circulation. More frequent hair cultivation is provided with this method.

2. With FUT technique which is done under sterescopic microscopes,tissue unit isnot harmed  except hair ıt is thrown by having a shave. So grefts which are very thin and tissues in very good conditions, can be  prepared.
