In genetic engineering,instead of all organism’s copy,by changing a specific cell’s DNA and providing protein production to correct genetic errors it makes necessary changes. First step in genetic engineering is to seperate gene which causes error in organism. The last step is to put this gene into the cell, so its function changes.

The gene causing hair loss for people is found by Dr. Angela Christiano from colombia university. With this gene people are born with hair then they lose this hair and hair doesnot grow again. Scientists found ilness in people’s 8p21 chromosome and copied it.but while it was causing hair loss for a man,other person did not have same hair loss effect. Still labaratory of DR. Christiano has been continuing studies. 

New medicine named hedgehog pathway provided hair growth on a Mouse. In the research it is seen that hair follicles passed from rest stage to growth state on the Mouse with this medicine.but this technology has not applied on human yet.

Cloning is still in test process. İnstead of a few success,for cloning  researchs are needed for hair cultivation.

What is hair reproduction?

It is hair cultivation on bald areas with  picked hair or chest hair. In  this application programme, development on hair follicle base cells is about growing together.when a hair is implanted ,cells creates a new follicles. Theoritically , a doctor can decide which hair is root cell with a microscope. This proseure is called hair reproduction.

Hair reproduction is a different technique.ıt contains triple action. Picking hair,culture of hair follicles cells, hair cultivation on front area of head or  thin hair areas.
